Storytowns is a team of travel loving adventurers, who love to get off the beaten track, meet the locals and throw themselves into new experiences. We have grown year on year (even through COVID) and have many opportunities for someone to grow with the company. Our app is replacing tourist radio with fun contemporary geo-located podcasts across Australia. We’ve made over 200 podcasts from Melbourne up to The Whitsundays and all the way over to Arnhem Land. These podcasts showcase local towns and stories for the travelling tourists. You can find Storytowns on the app store or google play.

ABOUT THE JOB

We are looking for a motivated and energetic go getter who can work alongside our team to assist in the planning and preparation of podcast meetings and events. You will need also need to organise and book travel for staff and a personal assistance to our CEO and Company Director. Most importantly you need to have excellent organisational skills and be able to juggle multiple projects at once. We are looking for someone who is has a passion for telling stories as we would like to also train you to move into a producer or storytelling position.

LOCATION | Remotely/Home

WAGE: To begin with your wage will be $24ph. You will need an ABN as it’s freelance work to begin with.

POSITION | Freelance to begin, 20hrs per week

To succeed in this role you will have:

• Strong written, typing and communication skills
• Confidence speaking with clients and cold calling podcast talent.
• Basic data entry knowledge, google docs, slack, drive,
• Ability to multitask, prioritise and manage time effectively
• Ability to retain and recall important information
• Capacity to work independently and proactively
